yes, I have 2006. however, this time round, I had a lot of trouble renewing
the subscription, as the page for that, also seems to be rather
inaccessible. eventually, I did actually get help from semantic to renew it,
but was asked several times, why I didn't upgrade to 2008, and I did tell
them, but I don't think they quite got the accessibility message
unfortunately.

Stick with 2006 if you are still using it. 2008 is on our laptop and
works fine.
However, usability is minimal so, for a blind user, you are better off
with 2006.
I can perform scans with 2008; but I leave it to my sighted wife to handle
any configuring and option setting when necessary.
Keep in mind that definitions are updated automatically; and antivirus and
internet security software works seamlessly on its own.
So once set up, there isn't much for a user to do anyway..
But if you are using 2006, stick with it.
