> Services, Assistive Technology Initiative (ATI) seeks an experienced

> continually evaluate and revise university-wide AT and IT
> accessibility policies and procedures, and serving on multiple
> committees and providing the overall vision for the project.

> Qualified applicants will possess a master's degree in AT, special
> education, or a related field, and will demonstrate substantial
> experience working in AT and education. Experience working with
> people with a variety of disabilities is required. Higher education
> experience is preferred.
> Experience supervising people and managing small budgets is ideal.
> Knowledge of federal and state laws pertaining to higher education and
> disability services including the Americans with Disabilities Act, and
> Section 504 and
> 508 of the Rehabilitation Act; and knowledge and experience with a
> variety of AT hardware and software applications is required.
> Applicants must have experience conducting AT assessments and
> training. Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a diverse group of
> people including people with disabilities, and strong written and
> verbal communication skills are required.
