Hello:

I received a call from a lady who is having problems getting her
microphone to work. She tried a different mic in her computer and it
doesn't work. Also, we checked the mic volume settings and the checkbox
you come to when you tab away from the mic volume setting shows it's not
checked, which I believe is the correct setting.

Does anyone have any ideas why this mic isn't working? She's trying to
use the mic plugged into the mic jack on the front of her computer. Is
there a way that one can disable the front jacks inadvertently?

Thanks,
