Hi,
Sounds just like me when I eat certain dried fruit.:-) I think the sugar
is causing
gut flora to produce lots of gas. It's painful and smelly at times.
HTH,
Chris

Subject: [NO-MILK] pears....do they cause gassy/fussy baby
hi. we started pears yesterday. no reaction. however, hunter had a
terrible night, gassy, stomach gurgling, cranky, unable to get
comfortable, finally pooped--smelled like sewage--and was then able to
get back to sleep. he is teething and is getting over a cold so this
could contribute to the fussiness. gave pears again this a.m. and he
seems gassy again....is this common? he only eats rice and now pears,
drinks neocate; is on prevacid powder packs daily. have allergist appt,
today at 2pm. any insight appreciated!!
Nancy
