There's also a company called Maxi-Aids that sells a lot of stuff for people
with hearing impairments and limited vision. One of the things I remember
is an alarm clock that has a place to plug in a "bed shaker" that can be
placed under your mattress or pillow to wake you up. Here's a link to one
