Hi List,

This is the text of a message that I sent to Kevin Kwan describing how I found the link to the archive of podcasts for AR News Line. Note: if you really like podcasts, you should probably get familiar with real pod catchers such as the accessible Ippoder or Juice.

Hi Kevin,

OK, here's the deal.

There is a link that says
"software (not your web browser) click on this link:
http://n5pre.podomatic.com/"

Well even though it says not to use your browser, you should do just that. Click on that link and you will see the archives week by week. If you arrow down past the listing (top to bottom) of the November 28 podcast, you will see the November 21 podcast. You should see a link associated with the November 21 podcast that says 'download.'

Highlight this link, press the numpad Star key (to right click) and then choose 'save target as.'

Before pressing enter, you can read the line with insert + up arrow to make sure you have the file ending with the date and the mp3 format.

It sounds weird, but that's how I got it to work.

At the very end of the list which goes back to October 10, 2008, you will see a link labeled 'next page.'

If you click on this link, it will take you to another page beginning with October 3, 2008 and going back to May 9, 2008. There is yet another 'next page' link at the end of this page which takes you back (I don't know how much further.)

This should help you out.

www.arnewsline.org. please if you figure out how to use it I'd be grateful if you show me cuz besides wanting last week's podcast, I might be interested looking for older ones since they clearly have an archive link. It's confusing because as you'll see, you can retrieve information for their events calendar as well which would have nothing to do with newsline.
