All the versions of Jaws can be run as demos for 30 minutes.

Are you talking about free versions of JAWS?  If so, the only free versions
of JAWS that I am aware of are the versions for DOS.  DOS, you know, the
operating system that was blind friendly and never crashed.  If other free
versions exist, I am unaware.

I have used Jaws from Version 3 on and am not familiar with the free
versions and would greatly appreciate any comments as to how good some of
these free versions are.
   I belong to an organization that occasionally purchases Computers for
people  who needs a system and is unable to pay for it.
