Hi all,
Well, I'm back, and we've made some progress.
I have a client that's using jaws for windows 4.50, and I have 2 problems:
1. I can't get the keys to talk.
Now, here's what I get when I press insert 6 to open the jaws configuration manager. "shell 32, jaws configuration manager." I don't get the normal message which says "jaws jcf configuration manager, and I have a feeling that, that's the cause of my problem. How do I get it out of shell 32, which he has it in?
2nd. I went into his folder on his desktop using jaws 4.50, and the thing does not say the full name of each of the files in his folder. It only says 2 words of the file name.
Now I did go into the hide extentions for known file types, and it is off, so that means it shouldn't be hiding them.
So, can someone talk me through, step by step, on how to solve either of these 2 problems? I'm stumped here.
Harry
