That depends on who you ask.  ;-)

Personally, I've never had a problem, but then, my eggs come from my own  
flock of chickens, so they are very fresh and I know exactly how they were  
stored and transported. I used to have three or four raw eggs pretty much  
every day.  I've cut back, though, since it tends to freak my wife and  
kids.  Now I cook them just enough to firm the whites.
