Tom,
Thanks for the recommendation. I did download the shareware
version which, if I can get around it well enough with JAWS, I'll buy.
I wonder if this is a newer version than you used. It's touted as
vastly modified, and I find it isn't very JAWS friendly. Many of the
checkboxes don't say what they are, etc, but I've discovered some
hotkeys by trial and error, and I've figured out some of the sliders and
radio buttons by lots of trial and error. In the end, after a few hours
without sighted help, I managed to get it to do what I want--send me
straight text from an input file at a given rate of speed with a given
amount of spacing between characters.
Who knows, since I'm trying to teach myself JAWS scripting,
maybe I'll take at least parts of it on as a pet project.

	Thanks for suggesting the program.

    Dave:

Try Nu-Morse, developed by Tony Lacy.

I used his code generating software for a CW class I gave on our local
2-meter repeater for quite a few years.

I think it'll meet your needs, if I understand them correctly.

You can even mention my name and call if you'd like, because I was a
Beta
tester for his software for a while.
