Hi.

Your difficulty with already populated fields could be easily resolved with
a small amount of scripting. If it is the consensus that this program is
otherwise one of the better ones for screen reader users, I may purchase it
as I'm looking to phase out the rest of my DOS stuff and get the remainder
of my ham radio computing into Windows based programs.

It would be a pretty easy matter to do a GetField () command, test the
string to see if it is blank, and if it isn't, then select tthe text that
the field contains from within the JAWS script. A problem like that would
probably take less than an hour to resolve.

Getting JAWS to tell you when a station has been worked before and
therefore fields have been auto-populated is probably possible too, but if
one isn't careful there, you can make the thing horribly chatty. Perhaps
having it trigger some sort of sound event might be the best approach.

Sounds like an interesting project (although I have a million irons in the
fire right now!).
