Pizza Fusion opened in November in Midtown Atlanta. Personally I was very
disappointed in the taste of the gf crust but many people like it very much.
Most gf people I know don't have my high standards for gf food ;)
Z Pizza has a great gf crust and three locations in the Metro Atlanta area -
check www.zpizza.com for locations. I've eaten at all three and don't like the
Midtown store due to the staff seeming uninterested in gf diners needs. Only
the manager seems to 'get it' and parking is a hassle there as well. I've had
great experinces at the Alpharetta store and this past weekend attended the
opening party at the Duluth store. We got apple pie pizza for dessert -
incredible! We can NOT have the Thai pizza or BBQ sauce and for now the
dressing are not confirmed gf so they had to make us balsamic vin. dressing
on the spot.
Pepperoni's in Duluth GA has the best tasting crust (to me) and is trying to
bring in gf pasta and desserts. They already have some gf ciders and Bard's
Tale beer. They don't have a website so please google for the phone number if
you're interested in having some awesome gf pizza in Duluth!
So Atlanta has finally arrived on the gluten free pizza scene and it's about
time! There is a small pizza joint in Virginia Highlands (near the Junkman's
Daughter) that either already has gf pizza or will soon. They use the same
crust as Z Pizza. Sorry I don't know the name - only the approx. location.
Happy pizza eating Atlantans!
