For those of you questioning why I chose Princess....
1. People on the list recommended them. There are people on the list who swear by and against just about every cruiseline on earth.
2. We were doing a week on land first...a cruisetour...not just a week on the ship. The landtour is not the same as excursions off the ship. I felt there would be more communication and consistency, since Princess owns there own lodges.

What I found out was...over the course of a year of planning
1. There is no communication between the cruise people and the landtour people. The cruise people (at 1800 Princess) sometimes didn't seem aware the land portion existed at all. Lots of wrong information is dispensed, as well. Even my travel agent says she has to call multiple times sometimes, until she gets a sensible answer.
2. There is no communication between Princess and special needs and the lodges or lodge to lodge.

It's your dime and your health. Don't be afraid to call them as many times as you need to.
