I caught that he included PWD's in his acceptance speech, and thought it was
great!

State Groups 1-3,

Wow, well, nothing to say but you all did it!

I am extraordinarily grateful to our group of state disability volunteer
teams for all of your incredible work in pushing Senator Obama to become
PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA!

I thank everyone for their incredible work, efforts and dedication. It
truly was awe inspiring to witness and experience the passion,
intelligence, focus, dedication, commitment, and true desire to bring
change to this country.

Many of you have called and written to me and it's difficult right now
to individually respond to everyone. But please accept this email as my
personal thanks to each of you for contributing to this historic
campaign. And, at this point, I have no information about
roles/positions/involvement/plans moving forward but I certainly will
communicate with anyone when and if the time is appropriate.

It's so wonderful to have worked with people who had full time jobs,
families and all sorts of commitments, but you still managed to
volunteer extraordinary time to phone calling, emailing, organizing and
so much more.

What was great was that while we were not perfect, thousands and
thousands of people worked every day extremely hard and tirelessly to
try and obtain perfection on behalf of and in support of the disability
community. I witnessed so many stories throughout the campaign and
particularly yesterday about our efforts to turn out the disability vote
and it truly was mind boggling.

And all capped off by our next President signaling that change has come
by including persons with disabilities in his historic acceptance
speech.

We made the right choice!

Kareem Dale
National Disability Vote Director
Obama for America

Kendall

An unreasonable man (but my wife says that's redundant!)

The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one
persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore, all progress
depends on the unreasonable man.
