Hi.

I used switching supplies for a while, but have gone back to linear 
supplies.  I too was plagued with noise problems.  Not just RF noise, but 
in some cases the cooling fan proved to be annoying, so I've gone back to 
the trusty old Astron RS20A, 35, and 50.
