Hi Pat,
Thanks for the most helpful info.

At this rate I'll probably get the 1.8 filter and the narrow 270 hz CW 
filter.

On the other hand I have three communications receivers with which to listen 
to shortwave.

A Drake R8B
A Japan Radio Company NRD525 and
a Lowe 225 Europa.
