I wouldn't even recommend that, if the amp doesn't show the radio a 1:1 SWR, 
that's usually a sign something's wrong. I know of only 1 person who ever 
had to do that and,  as I said, that amp never did work as well as others of 
the same model and I'd bet if he ever went through it, he'd find a problem.
