I just received the DT400W by Sangean.
The reception is the same as the original DT200V however, the plastic case 
doesn't sound quite as good.

However, the biggest feature I found is that you can turn off the 90 minute 
timer that automatically turns the radio off.

It also has a bass boost however, you really don't notice it as well unless 
you are using headphones or earbuds.

I purchased the radio because it has NOAA frequencies.

My DT200V has TV frequencies and they will be going away as of FEB. 2009.
