It is nice for what it does, but it is not really a notetaker.  It does allow 
you to make Voice notes, but it is very limited.  You need a PC to edit any 
notes you take.  It's plus is that it is a nice portable reader, but I use the 
BraillePlus almost exclusively for my reading needs now that it has NLS DTB 
capability as well.
