FWIW... I never had this problem... I get individual emails via my outlook 
express...

Keith, it seems to me the crux of the issue is really with the listserv 
itself. I'm sure folks post to other lists (Yahoo, Google, etc.) using a 
wide range of email clients, yet I've never seen the same issues with those 
services. I would guess those other services automatically translate the 
encoding to UTF8 or some other standardized encoding prior to distributing 
the messages. Would it be possible for the list owners (I know that's you 
for EvFit, but I'm not sure about this list) to contact ICORS and see if 
there's a setting that could be changed, or possibly some other solution?=
