How awesome is that. That's better than any warm fuzzy.

> I walked out into my office this morning about 9 o'clock and my grandson said, "Hi grandpa," and hugged me real tight. I knew he was coming today, of course, but we didn't know he'd be here early. He sounds great, is having a wonderful day getting to know the dogs and his home all over again, and he goes back to the hospital at 7:30 PM tonight and then has a class Monday at 11 o'clock in the morning and about noon, he comes home for good. He still, as I've said before, will be an outpatient a couple of times a week but at least the house doesn't feel empty to me any more. Praise God! He still has a long ways to go but 4 weeks ago, he was very close to death and I am not overstating it either. When he first was brought into the Emergency Room, he was completely unconscious and the first CT showed bleeding in the brain. They were considering brain surgery for many hours as they watched him. He had seizures and sometime broke the bands holding him down due to his thrashing about.
