Interesting discussion from Medscape...Latent & silent celiac are described.

Enjoy!

Celiac Disease
Many Celiac Disease Patients Have Latent Disease Despite Normal Diet
Latency develops in some patients with celiac disease (CD) despite gluten
reintroduction, according to a report in the October issue of Gut. However,
patients with latent CD remain at risk of relapse, the investigators observed,
indicating that "remission does not indicate a definitive recovery but as a return
to latency that requires a regular follow-up."
