Hi Everyone,

I wanted to share with you information about a great little restaurant that we have visited several times. It is not far from Route 57 as it goes thru Kankakee, Illinois. (Restaurant name and location is found below.)

They do not have a separate gluten free menu, but they can tell you which of their meals can be made gluten free. They also have a gluten free buffet twice each month -- the first Tuesday and the third Thursday of every month in the evening.

The owner is also the chef and he is very knowledgeable about gluten free cooking. He even has separate woks and utensils for his gluten free cooking. It is my understanding that nothing is packaged or prepared, everything is cooked fresh on the spot. The local celiac support group leader has worked with him to ensure gluten free meals for celiacs.

We have eaten there several times and it has been absolutely wonderful!
