Hey everyone,
Senator Sheldon Whitehouse from Rhode Island emailed me with a "Town
Meeting" in my hometown of Warwick to discuss helathcare issues. Since I
work nights, I couldn't attend, and instead emailed him my concerns with the
lack of attention to the labeling of gluten free products.
I received a call from his staff this week assuring me that this is one of
the Senator's priorities, especially since he also has family with food
allergy/intolerance issues. They told me they will be following the progress
of this situation closely, and will call or email me with updates. I told
her that the listserv would be a great way to keep us informed, and gave her
the link.
Here's the link to Senator Whitehouse's webpage:

Let's hope many more politicians are as concerned for our health and wellbeing.
