I also have Sjogren's Syndrome which is a progressive and systemic autoimmune disease and it is generally recommended that we take the flu shot, even though it might not be totally effective. I am also a old guy and the shot is negated somewhat by age. But regardless of my two autoimmune diseases and my age I am almost always first in line to get mine.
