This statement from Prego "Please keep in mind that product recipes change
frequently and ingredients are periodically added and replaced. Therefore, I
advise you to check the ingredient statement on each package to be certain
that the product is still gluten-free." makes me wonder. Do they really print
brand new labels (millions of them) every time they "frequently" change their
ingredients? It seems absurd that a company would spend hundreds of
thousands of dollars on labels, change ingtredients, throw out the old labels
and spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on new labels....only to repeat the
process again.
It makes one wonder how accurate and up to date the labels are anytime.
