Below are some topics that could be covered:
€How to determine if gluten is present in medication.
€Things to consider before hospitalization or surgery include the following
gluten-free: IV's, heparin flushes, contrast drinks
or injections, anesthesia, etc.
€How to choose and take supplements (with a meal, time
of day, in conjunction with another such as with Folic Acid) once vitamin
and mineral deficiencies have been determined.
€Compounding gluten-free medication when prescribed
medicine isn't gluten-free.
€Mailing of medication for out-of-town patients.

Half Price Book Sale: Books will be available at our March meeting from Half
Price Book Store in Cool Springs, TN. Selections have been made based on the
following topics: nutrition, health, wellness, celiac and gluten-free. This
is not a fundraiser but is being offered as a service to you at cost, with
no sales tax, in celebration of National Nutrition Month®

Refreshments: Please bring a GF dish to share. Newbies can bring beverages
if they are unsure what to make. Be sure to bring a copy of the recipe and
ingredients ‹ members with other food intolerances will greatly appreciate
this!
