My son is having a large birthday party for my 3 year old granddaughter, lots of adults and kids. I'm the only one who is gluten-free.
I've recommended places to other celiacs, that I've dined at in San Francisco, but other than for Rainforest Cafe, none of them are really child-friendly, and most are expensive. I love Fish Market in San Mateo, and places at the wharf. But if they have 20-30 people, this would be out of the question.
I'm hoping there are some San Fran folks who can recommend a good place (FAST!) in San Fran itself or just south of it (as far as Foster City), that would be good for a kids' group, not break the bank, and still allow me to eat.
My son needs an answer right away. (I'm surprised he asked me to suggest a place.)
My grandchildren's Red and Ginger celebrations (Chinese) were held at Moonstar, in Daly City, but that was over a thousand dollars. Not good for a 3 year old's birthday party.
Thanks. Lin
