One other important point on this:

removing a desktop icon has no actual effect on the program itself.  The 
desktop thing is a shortcut to get to the program so do not have any fear 
in removing any of them.
And, the reason you have multiple icons for the same program is that 
somehow someway you placed them there.
I have done this both accidentally and by intention on numerous occasions.






It is a glorious thing to know that your Father God makes no mistakes in directing
or permitting that which crosses the path of your life. It is our glory to trust
