Hi to all.

Chris: I actually just installed Firefox yesterday and have been playing with it ever since. I haven't tried it on last.fm's site yet, but I do have a guess after looking at the Options menu under the Tools menu that you have not allowed popups on the last.fm site--it fits with the problem as you describe it. last.fm's radio player actually opens in a popup window (I've visited the site with Internet Explorer several times), and because Mozilla Firefox's default setting is to not allow popups from any site, you will have to make an exception for last.fm.

Now, if you are trying to listen to a specific song through last.fm instead of its radio stations, I suspect you have the same problem as I did when I tried to do the same through playlist.com (at http://www.playlist.com, a great site for that, by the way)--namely that the Shockwave player used with Internet Explorer does not work with Firefox. I solved that problem by typing in one of the addresses for a StreamtheWorld radio feed ( http://player.streamtheworld.com/liveplayer.php?callsign=KOOLFM ). That address provided me with a direct link to download the Firefox version of the Shockwave player.

Hope all of this helps.

Ted

All of the menu items under the fire fm add on are unavailable to me, and as I stated before, none of my content will play while using Firefox. This has been consistent on three computers, so I can only assume there is a Firefox setting I have to tweak, yet I can't seem to find it.
