Hi, all.
At the risk of getting the whole Brailler thing started again, I have a
question.
Has anyone ever seen or used the new smaller, light-weight Brailler that
Perkins supposedly has just come out with?
It's called the Lantern, I think.
I believe it retails for around $600.
As we all know, newer isn't necessaryly better, but it's still worth looking
at.
If you reply to this thread on list, I ask that you try to keep your
response related to this new machine.
I consider this to be "on topic", since many of us still use a Brailler of
one kind or another for certain ham radio-related activities.
For example, I still use my old Perkins when I'm net control, to keep track
of check-ins, and the like.
It's just much easier than trying to run a net and work with Jaws at the
same time.
