Tom,

My friend, Kurt, WB3AGC, is using an MC60 with a ts2000 and is also having 
intermittent hum problems.  He thinks it's a cable issue but hasn't found it 
yet.  I'll let you know if he figures it out but it seems to be an 
annoyingly common problem with that mic.  Lou
