Hi David:

If it is a team event then surely the whole system needs to be compatible
with the rest of the club.

Here we still run TR log on a DOS platform.
I either use it on a DOS 6.22 machine with an old Navigator 40, or I run it
under Windows 98 on a laptop in the DOS box.
It works reasonably well.

TR also has the facility for networking through serial ports with other
machines on the network.

In this configuration, it means that you can turn off JAWS when someone else
is logging so they don't become confused.

If you intend to use the K1E speech keyer board then you may experience an
issue.
I have never gone down this route as I am primarily a CW operator.

There is a Windows version of TR hitting the scene but I haven't played
about with it yet.
My buddy in the club doesn't like it as a sighted user.

Subject: Accessible logging software.

Hi Listers.
I'm looking for logging software that works well with JAWS and that
can either print log pages or share with other standard logging
programs. My intent is to use it for Field Day at a club site and be
able to add my log pages to the club's. Any experience/suggestions.

Thanks and 73,

Dave Simpson
