Hi to all,
I was trying to put a 442 frequency in my THD7A G. Does the autimatic ofset work on UHF? if so how do you get it to function? Greg a local ham was trying to help me with learning some of the functions he programmed a few local repeaters into my radio. He had problems trying to get the offset to work on the b band on 442. does any one have any suggestions? Also, I was reading that you have 200 channels. do you have 100 channels on a and another on b or do you have 100 all together. what I mean is can you program a frequency on A and another to B and save them both on channel one?

One reason I am asking about the issue with 442 is I bought the radio used from R & L. I want to make sure there isn't nothing wrong with it. I am not sure but most people give you at least 30 days warentee. I am not sure what R& L's policy is. So if there is a problem with the radio I want to get it taken care of. On the other hand, if there is a problem with me and there probably is (smile) I have a lot to learn.
thank you in advance.
