I'm having the same problem from time to time with SBCGLOBAL. If I hit wait,
sometimes everything downloads eventually. If you hit Stop, and all of the
messages haven't downloaded, you'll get dupes of all the messages you
downloaded again, because the messages aren't taken off the server until
everything is downloaded.

Subject: OT Strange Mail Behavior

For the last week, about every 2 days, I get the message that my POP Server
has not responded in the specified 2 minutes and ask if I want to wait.
Waiting doesn't work. Then messages already read and deleted comes back
into the INBOX. After thinking it over, I decided to go directly into my
Verizon Account and delete messages in the INBOX. That cures the problem
for a day or so. I keep my Verizon Security up to date and run it often and
have never found a virus in the month we have had it.

Any similar experience or thoughts?
