Hi, Jacquie,
They are hard to describe. It's almost as if someone had pushed a tiny
pocket of skin out from the inside with a blunt pin. They are attached to
your body by a tiny, narrow neck of skin and are soft and will bend if you
touch them. They are usually only about a maximum of 1/4 inch long on a much
narrower attaching "neck,"
If they occur around your neck area, they can catch on your jewelry and be a
nuisance. A dermatologist will usually cut them off, cauterize them off, or
freeze them off with liquid nitrogen. At least in my case, they occur in
large numbers.
