Finally, my question: How do you know where your thyroid is located?

At the lower part of your neck.  Feel around where your collar bones
connect in the front of your chest.  It is right above that.  When mine
developed a goiter (very rapidly, I might add) I wondered what the
hell?  As far as I knew all of my glands were along my jawline, not down
that far on my neck.  Boy was I wrong!  Hope this helps!
