Jeanne asked this question " Has anyone out there had a problem with the
consistency of their medication?"

I used Synthroid in the past but now am on Armour. Previous posts talked
about storing the meds in the refrigerator with a cooler temperature. I
also get the 100's bottles and someone suggested to leave the dessicant in
the bottle to draw off any excess moisture. I did this with the Synthroid
and "felt" that it helped. I am also doing it with the Armour. I would
load up my pill case for the week for the meds and then they only sat out
during that week.

Our puppy came along and decided that the pill case smelled interesting and
chewed it and the meds to smitherines. I got out another pill case and
loaded it up. I kept the bedroom door closed but another family member
left it open. Puppy decided to take out another pill case. There must be
something in there that he liked. Now I go to the refrigerator before bed,
take out one pill and set it by my bed to take first thing in the morning.
I try to take it 1 hour before I eat and this seems to work the best for me.

Something to think about is whether your iron might be low. I work at a
University and there is a blood drive every 3 months. This last month I
have been dragging. When I went to give blood, my iron level was 37.5 and
needed to be 39 to give. I am hoping to get this tested. I also that that
my husband and I are reinfecting each other with Candida yeast. The
conventional doctors don't buy the possibility of this being a problem.
