   How much diet soda has he been drinking?  This is a known problem with
some of the sweeteners.  Also, it is possible that there was excessive
fuel or lubricant fume exposure.

> He probably will never fly again (his biggest dream ever!), unless this
> might be the cause of the medicine (thyroid).

    This is likely the case UNLESS you can really prove that he has been
exposed to chemical fumes or poisoned by foods.
