Since we're talking levels, does anyone know much about antibody levels?
My appointment with the endo is not for many weeks, but the nurse
practitioner who gave me the results said my "anti-thyroid peroxidase
antibodies" were over 1890 on a normal range of 0.0 to 1.9. I thought she
must be reading it wrong but she mailed me a copy and it says >1890, and
the "normal" scale as mentioned. What has anyone else experienced with
elevations in these levels?
Susan M.
PS: My other thyroid tests are "normal" according to her, TSH 3.5 on a
scale of .35-5.5.
I don't even see results here for T3 or T4, she only tested for antibodies
because I read about my multinodular goiter and asked for the test.
