Can people have antibodies to T4 as in the Synthroid
they're taking that can make it non-productive? I read
that you could have antibodies to T4 and T3. Is that
true? If so, what antibodies would they be and how
would you stop it?

I've also read that people can build up a resistance to
thyroid hormone (Synthroid). What causes this?
How could you build up a resistance to something
that your body requires? Is the cause of this the
antibodies?

The autoimmune system, my oh my, what mean
tricks it plays on the body!
