Susane,
I was just recently diagnosed with Hashis too, the  way they found it was due
to me fracturing 6 ribs! They sent me for a bone scan too and found I had a
great deal of bone loss. I am 47. My doctor daid the medication will slow
down the progression of the bone loss but seems to have very little other
thoughts on the loss. If  you find out anything please let me know. Good
