Probably both. I know people who have the last name Baldeh and others with the last name Bandeh. it could also be, that somehow along the line, one of these last names changed due to mispronunciation and just stuck. Or that they  just completely have nothing to do with each other.  i am not an expert on this, but that is my take, Hopefully the Baldeh's can shed some light on this
