This is a reminder about our gluten-free Thanksgiving dinner. If you are in
central Texas, we hope you will be able to join us for this annual event.
We will be serving turkey, dressing, gravy, rolls and all the trimmings and
desserts you might be worried about missing out on.
Where: Covenant Presbyterian Church, 211 Roleto Drive, San Antonio, Texas
When: Saturday, November 22 at 12 noon
Who: All members of Alamo Celiac and the GF community of central Texas and
their families
How it Works: RSVP and tell me what you want to bring and how many family
members will be with you. If you are new to the celiac diet, you are
invited to come and be our guest, but we would still like to know you are
coming so we will have plenty for all.
Labels are important, even at a GF dinner. Please bring a list of
ingredients or the recipe for your dish. Many of our members have more
restrictions than just gluten. Attention to the top 8 allergens is
appreciated. All ingredients should be listed, along with your name. If
you have used a mix, you might prefer to bring the empty box or package, and
remember to put your name on it, along with what kind of ingredients you
added.
If you have any questions about what to bring, please e-mail or call and
talk to me about it.
