     Aging with CP has caught up with me too, as of yesterday.  I banged up my right knee a few days ago just going  about my normal activities, no big deal. Only problem was pain kept getting worse not better, despite my efforts to rest and prevent further strain. I gave in and visited the local emergency room yesterday, where I was promptly diagnosed with a badly bruised kneecap and osteoarthritis!  I am now home with instructions to take it easy for several days and swallow Advil four pills at a time,every eight hours until I can arrange an appointment with an orthopedist.   My age as of yesterday,46 years, 5 months,9 days.
