Interesting...I though dawn phenomenon was just first thing AM. I'll have to
monitor it some more.

Have you considered Dawn Phenomenon?  Although this most often causes raised
FBG first thing in the morning, it is also possible to wake up with a normal
bg and have it rise during the morning regardless of intake?  (BTDT)
