We are all dying. We just hope it takes a while.
A friend of mine died recently, who has been a staunch advocate of a
health and fitness lifestyle for most of his life. He ate healthy,
mostly paleo (what he called the "caveman diet"), and exercised
regularly. He started a couple of gyms and a small health food store
chain. He lifted weights and trained martial arts until he was in his
seventies. He died at 81, from complications from a fall. I mention
all this just to say that a healthy diet and a healthy lifestyle is
fantastic. It will help you enjoy life, and maybe even prolong it a
bit. But in the end, we're all going to die anyway. Just remember
there's a lot to enjoy in life, and diet is just one small part of it.
