I agree with that 100%, Tom. When I first "discovered" a more natural way of living I am lucky I didn't lose any friends, hehe, cuz I sure did "lecture" them about the "right way" to do everything from skin care to diet to what they brushed their teeth with. And although I still think I'm RIGHT, lol, I have learned to tame it down a bit and be more understanding when they choose to medicate, like I recently did. It bites my BUTT to do that, but like you said, sometimes you just have to "fix it" to be able to think straight enough to actually FIX IT. I just appreciate the support from you in that direction, as I equally appreciate the support of William, et al, who has/have been there and can give me tips on maybe ditching the drug. There's much to be said for a "well-rounded education"!!
Love,
Bren
It is easy to over-medicate, and Doctors certainly tend to go that route
easily, so we run into problems. I just feel that medicines have a place if
used wisely. When your life is in danger you don't always have time to
slowly weigh the alternatives and discover the exact perfect solution.
Get the problem under control and then start looking around for a better
way.
I think paleo people can be much live vegans in ascribing all physical
troubles to diet, and imagining that the perfect diet can prevent all ills.
It can become almost a religion.
