Not only have I been a mosquito magnet, but the allergic reactions are huge.
This was even when I was doing everything wrong, taking .3 or 300 (however
it's measured) Synthroid with food and iron. Thiamin seemed to make me less
attractive, but I feared an imbalance of B vitamins. Garlic just made the
mosquitos think I was an Italian restaurant. When I was told that I was
deficient in phosphorus, because I react badly to legumes (beans, peanuts), I
ate almonds. Somehow almonds with my body chemistry made the mosquitos try
to get away from me, even in a closed car. This might not work for anyone
else, and it might not remain true for me in the future.
I suspect that some people get bitten and just don't feel a thing, but
allergic hypos like me can point to every single bite because of the reaction.
