Hi:

I have recently had a subtotal thyroidectomy done and foud out today that it
is was Hashimoto thyroiditis. I am currently taking Synthroid 0.1 mg every
morning. I have a question that I really need an answer to. Since the
surgery (four weeks ago), I feel like I am getting hot flashes (I am only 32
do not think that it is female hormones doing it). Also, my fingers will get
cold, but the fingertips are red. I was wondering if any one has had this
same problem and what was done to treat it. Also, on the Synthoid I do not
have the energy that I did before the surgery. If that does not change, the
dose of Synthroid will be changed in six weeks. Any information will be
greatly appreciated.

Deborah
